TimeCloud.me: Social Networking Web Application

We just launched TimeCloud.me, a social networking web site of sorts. Users create a timeline of their life, explore that timline, discover connections with people, and view their timelines.

Getting Started — Facebook Integration

TimeCloud is tightly integrated with Facebook. If you have a Facebook account there's no need to register. Just click on the Facebook login button... it retrieves your basic information from your Facebook profile.

Creating a Timeline

After you login, you can choose to import your existing jobs, schools, and interests directly from your Facebook account... no need to re-type everything. Your timeline is formed from the details of your life — where you lived and worked, where you went to school, the friends you've made along the way, and your interests — that you choose to share.

Traveling Through Time

Once you have created your timeline, you can scroll back in forth in time. At each point along the line where something significant happened, you can view the people that you were most likely to have known, based on your life, relationships, and interests.

When you find someone you're interested in below your line, you can view that person's line alonside yours — comparing the relevant points along your timelines. If you'd like to see who that person might have come into contact with, you can promote his/her timeline to the top, travel back and forth through time, and see his/her matches.

The Future

Future plans for TimeCloud include adding photo galleries linked to specific points in time (vacations, weddings, etc.) Also on the table is adding the ability to keep a journal and tag it to events in your timeline.
